nicotine+ - front-end client for soulseek, a p2p software. you can find mostly anything here. its like a modern and safe version of that lime app.
bandcamp - you can find a lot of independent music here, as well as a couple of labels. theres so much great music on here - you'll never be bored.
deemix - download albums straight from streaming, arl is required. heres a list of active ones for hq downloading.
kpopexplorer - this usually has all the recent kpop releases in 320 kbps. avoid old links as they use linkvertise and that site is a plague.
ilkpop - same as kpopexplorer but with individual song links. mirror site.
jpop80ss3 - an incredible archive of japanese music from the 1980s and 1990s. it has everything from that era you can think of.
sophie's floorboard - a blogspot filled with discog downloads to mostly alt and emo music.
rip kpoptap, kpopjams, that one spanish site i used, aids (mobile deezloader), producto ilicito, the og ytmp3 site, r/MegaUploads.
you all left an important impact on my life and made me realize that preservation of media is important.
mp3tag - i primarily use this to tag all mp3 files i download. very easy to use.
fre:ac -audio converter. every once in a while, a download i have is lossless so i use this to make it mp3. complicated at first but a breeze once figured out.
vlc player - media player that plays formats normal pcs can't. most notably mkv.
imgburn - cd burner / ripper. i use this to burn dreamcast games, although it requires certain files. works like a charm.
davinci resolve - video editor. a free alternative to adobe's premiere pro and is very extensive with what it can do.
fl studio - daw. music maker i use in order to make music projects.
carat - ide software / text editor. what i use to code html. very simple to use, though the project has been delisted and i think its abandonware, which sucks.
picsart - photo editor. i use this app for everything, logos, art, covers. every piece of art you see on this website was made in this app.
pano scrobbler - a client for last.fm. android only but it works leagues better than the official last.fm mobile app.
retro player - music player. it lags occasionally but it can withstand large music libraries with no issues.
cdromance - this site has a ton of dreamcast, ps1, ps2 and many more isos. one of my fav resources to download games.
vimm's lair - although a lot of roms are removed (fuck you nintendo), theres still a lot of roms to look through and the site is a labor of love. deserves all the appreciation.
general emulator - wiki-style site used for emulators.
redream - my main emulator for dreamcast. it works flawlessly on lower performing computers.
pcsx2 - main ps2 emulator, very easy to set up and get working.
video games are a great medium, and we should give great thanks to everyone whos taking their time to archive these games.
most of these games would be gone completely if it werent for these websites.
archive.org - you can find a lot of movies from all eras. i mostly use it for japanese movies which it has a great variety of.
9anime - the safest and best way to watch anime online, in my opinion.
animesuge - same thing as 9anime.
asian cinemagic - a blog dedicated to showing asian cinema, i haven't used this site to download but its made by the same person who made jpop80ss3, so i trust it. the screenshots look immaculate.
18+ - effed up movies - you can find a lot of weird stupid shit here, mostly weird horror films from japan and a bunch of other horror & fetish explotation films.
nicotine+ - pretty much what i described for music also applies here. refer back to the music section for a link.
