Well it's the final week of school, and my math teacher is STILL assigning geometry work. This post is gonna be fairly short because not much has happened outside of a few main things so I'm gonna delve into that. I feel really, really good. Yeah, that's no surprise but earlier today I was having this killer headache, like it was genuinely unbearable so as soon as I got home I immediately rested, and now I feel much better. For some reason, in 4th period, there was a smell that was very waxy I think and it just made everything, much worse, like it became so bad it felt like a machete pierced right into my brain, it sucked so much and for the rest of the day it was pretty bad still. The bus ride home was very fun though but that's because I did something I haven't done in a long time, which was refreshing to do. I sat down and listened to a playlist that wasn't LOONA, or JPEGMAFIA or Haunted Mound related. I listened to other music and varied it out a bit and it made me feel better. I was very much appreciative of what music is out there and I should do it more. I was introduced to this song called Let's Kick His Ass!, which was made by Father, Zack Fox and Archibald Slim, and it's genuinely a pretty song. The beat is a perfect blend of smooth and hard-hitting, I can't really describe it better than The College Dropout by Kanye West type beats with some trap influence, which realistically might be the best thing ever. The vocals and delivery all blend with the beat too and it's just, amazing to listen to, for it's subject matter and funny lyrics, it feels very emotional, and has me feeling things. It's a beautiful song and I'm 100% willing to check out Father's discography based on that one song because of how good it was. There's a beat switch too that's amazing too, there's a LOT to this song that's amazing. I also finished this Word Search app I've been playing for months, and for return, guess what I got. Guess. You got it? Well, you're wrong. They gave me nothing. I'm not particularly upset because I didn't care about getting to the end really but it's kinda disappointing I did all of that for nothing. I had fun with it though, so I just downloaded a new word search app. I don't think I've ever talked about this here but I'm really good at Word Searches. Like, unironically. They're fun to do so I keep doing them and I would say I'm pretty good at them. I've been playing them for a long time, over a year now, almost two soon, which is crazy to think about. I was walking to the living room and guess what I saw on the TV, you guessed it. Godzilla! Yeah, there was an old episode of the Simpsons on where they traveled to Japan and Godzilla made a tiny cameo, I was surprised a little they actually made a faithful reference to him, and was little shocked to see they actually used the iconic Godzilla roar which originated from the original 1954 movie. Speaking of Godzilla, did you know his first actual appearance was in 1954's 11 (might be 10) part radio drama in July that was based on an earlier draft of the script! It's unfortunate mostly lost, with most leads ultimately going nowhere unfortunately. The only existing episode is the final part which was released on a special edition CD for the 50th anniversary of the franchise, so those other episodes exist still, or at least then if they were able to release that one, maybe I'll look into it when I have time, would be fun. There doesn't seem to be a page on the Lost Media Wiki on it so I might do some further research and make one based upon my findings, which I hope is enough to spark some interest. I'm incredibly intrigued to know what a earlier Godzilla would be, albeit the fact it was based on a earlier draft of the script, and it being a few months earlier. With that being said, it's always good to have more Godzilla content out there. Never too much of it. There might be this super important thing I'm just not mentioning and that's something that's pretty important to me. I got a haircut. On surface this doesn't sound like much but considering how long my hair can grow (past my shoulders, dry) and the fact I haven't gotten one since May 2020, which is two years, I figured it'd be important to get one now. Also there's something coming up and this felt necessary, and honestly, I'm pretty happy with it, and the trim I got might be my go-to haircut for now on. It's simple, to the point, and easy to do, plus I like the way it looks. I didn't tell anybody in person I was doing this, outside of a few people but mostly everyone doesn't know, and it's such a drastic length I can't wait to see people's reaction. I'm super sorry if this post seems different writing wise, that headache took a lot of me tonight so it's hard to think straight, it's all good now but it's hard to come up with stuff to write at the moment, so it's not on purpose. I'm gonna plan on watching Black Water tonight, I forgot what year it was but it looks really good. Musically speaking I haven't gotten into much outside what was previously discussed, but I did find out Mariya Takeuchi and Tatsuro Yamashita were married at some point, or might be separated. That's fun to learn, two legends of Japanese city pop being married. It's cute. I'm sorry for this impromptu post feeling weird, I just wanted to write about the haircut so I'm glad I got to. I'll check you in the next post, until now, see you later.
